We at Studio Place Arts are saddened by Frank C. Gaylord’s passing in mid-March, 2018.  We were proud to have known him as a neighbor and friend, and to have exhibited his fine work in our gallery at several annual stone shows.  Additionally, we were pleased to have presented his work in a major exhibit in 2015, “Frank C. Gaylord: Sculptures & New Drawings, A Lifetime Retrospective, May 20 - June 3, 2015.”

We are providing 2 links to recent published stories about Frank C. Gaylord’s lengthy career, below:

Studio Place Arts has published a catalog for the 2015 retrospective show celebrating the work of Frank C. Gaylord.

Widely considered as one of the great master sculptors, Frank Gaylord’s work was sought out and highly regarded throughout his career. This book catalogs an exhibit of the artist's most famous sculptures as well as early and recent two-dimensional work.
