Food Donations!  SPA requests gallery visitors to bring shelf stable food donations for the Food Shelf at Capstone Community Action.  A donation box will be at the gallery front entrance.

While the color purple is relatively rare in the natural world, the SPA gallery will overflow with various shades, from bold magenta and periwinkle to earthy plums, wines and pomegranates.  During the season when farm lilacs are budding and bursting into bloom, this symbolic color formerly reserved for royalty will have its day at SPA.

New work, project based, site specific; prints, drawings, collage, and assemblage as personal investigation to the meaning of the word / concepts, KOAN and TONE. Koan as paradoxical inquiry or statement used in Zen Buddhism. Tone, as in sound, timbre or intonation, or as in tint, shade, color, mode of expression or mood.

Old Houses 
Robert Waldo Brunelle, Jr., is exhibiting 14 acrylic paintings of Victorian and other vintage homes in Vermont.  Brunelle is a painter, kinetic sculptor, book illustrator, art educator and political cartoonist.
