Experience Studio Place Arts (SPA), a vibrant, three-floor, non-profit community visual arts center in historic downtown Barre, Vermont. Our mission is to enrich people around the region by making the visual arts accessible to everyone through education, art exhibitions (free of charge), and contact with working artists. SPA opened its doors in 2000 following extensive renovations of a fire damaged, historic structure, the Nichols Block, which presented an opportunity to bring more creative programming to our region.

We experienced a catastrophic flood in Barre City on July 10th, and we have been working to restore our art center. Currently, our building systems are repaired and we are working on masonry improvements. We are making good progress. Thank you for your kindness and support during these challenging months. Support SPA!
Your donations will help support SPA and offset the damages to our building by the July 10th flood that devastated downtown Barre. We have faced repairs, system replacements, and numerous cancelled arts programs. Thank you for supporting our efforts to bring vibrant programs to community members and visitors around the region.
