Auction of Works by the late Ray Brown
Studio Place Arts (SPA) is pleased to present a fundraiser, “Art for Resilience,” featuring work by the late Ray Brown, a talented artist and long-time owner of The Drawing Board in Montpelier with his wife, Jody. Jody Wilson Brown, who serves on the Board of Directors of SPA has donated works for a silent auction to benefit SPA’s continued actions to fortify its 1880’s historic structure from the ravages of future flooding.
Art for Resilience Fundraiser:
Bid Online: January 15 – February 15, 2025 (Bidding closes at 3PM on February 15th)
Pop-Up Exhibit: January 22 – February 8, 2025. Auction artwork on display in the SPA Classroom. Bidding open online and in-person during this time.
The highest bid at 3PM on February 15, 2025, wins the artwork. Bidders may choose to purchase the artwork(s) immediately using the “Buy It Now” price.
SPA asks winning bidders to pay for their work either by using the "Pay Now" button listed below OR if bids are made in person, SPA accepts personal checks and credit cards.
Bidders must complete their purchase of artwork(s) promptly (by February 22, 2025). SPA will obtain a shipping estimate for winning bidders who live outside our area, which would be an additional cost.
