Art at the AUD

The Barre Auditorium – fondly called the “AUD” – was constructed in the late 1930’s as a federal Public Works Administration project.  The “AUD” has served Barre and the region as a community center for meetings, training sessions, performances, athletic events, family celebrations, and conventions.

SPA curates the artwork at the AUD and its adjacent buildings.  The featured artist in the “Connector Building” located between the AUD and Alumni Hall is Juliana Cassino Fechter, featured artists in “Alumni Hall” are Pria Cambio, Robert Chapla, and Janet Van Fleet; and the entrance to the AUD is Aaron Stein.
