The Studio Place Arts Gallery is a non-profit gallery at 199 North Main Street in downtown Barre, Vermont. Handicapped parking and wheelchair access are at the rear of the building. For more information call 479-7069 or 479-7241.

Hours for All SPA Galleries:
Tuesday through Friday, 10am - 5pm
Saturday, 12pm - 4pm

The Main Gallery (first floor) is the premier exhibit space for SPA. 10 -12 shows per year are planned, installed and exhibited. Some of these are invitational theme shows, some are curated by outside entities and some are open for submission. The December Member's Show is open only to artists that are members, and all artist members are welcome to show at this time. Corporate sponsorship is sought to support expenses. Commissions on art sales made in a main gallery exhibition are 35%, paid to SPA.

The Second Floor Hallway Gallery is devoted to student and community exhibits. Shows mounted here run concurrently with Main Gallery exhibits, and are included in all promotional materials for that month. Use of this space is free. Exhibitors are responsible for any additional promotional costs. Art teachers and community project leaders are encouraged to apply to exhibit students' work.

The Third Floor Hallway Gallery is available for one-person or special shows. Shows mounted here will run concurrently with Main Gallery exhibits, and will be included in all promotional materials for that month. Corporate sponsorship is sought to support expenses. Artists are encouraged to apply to exhibit in this space. Commissions on art sales made in a third floor exhibition are 35%, paid to SPA.

Studio Place Arts also receives 10% commission on art sold as a result of a SPA exhibition for up to 90 days after an exhibit ends.

This website (see links at top of page) lists all current exhibits and archives all past exhibits along with sponsorship on each floor so that interested browsers can see what has been shown as well as what is happening at present.

Artists who are interested in participating in the Main Gallery exhibits (see UPCOMING page) or would like to show in the 2nd and 3rd Floor Galleries are encouraged to contact SPA .
